These are very handy for cleaning hard to get at coolant fittings on modern
FWD cars which have rusted due hose weeps.
After 5 or more years, a lot of the smaller hoses which have those
spring-clips securing them, deform under the heat-cool cycles and start to
leak when the engine is cold. This also rusts the fittings. If you have some
burrs or mini wirewheels with a 3mm or 1/8" shaft, you can use the
air-driven tool which is the size of a highlite pen to clean them up.
Tool is about $49 at Supercheap. Beats trying to use emery paper wrapped
around a screwdriver.
