I've rented one today to work on the rx7, they seem like an ok car but the
dash is dead in the middle. I haven't seen anything as cheapo since some
time in the 70s. I'm suprised anyone buys 'em. :-)

Hmmm, maybe people want to see what an xtrail is, maybe some sort of
treasure map, but come out with a car.
Wonder if they could sell them if they called them ntrails?

Maybe sales would pick up if they put a 4.0L 200 kW V6 in it, like the US
equilvanet (X-Terra) has got.

Very un4wd to drive and pretty sporty for what they are. Really well
thought out interior. Love the can chillers. My pick in it's class after
the forrestor.

The X-Terra is the PATHFINDER equivalent.

Er, how can it be the Pathfinder equivalent when the US also sells the
Pathfinder itself? The X-Terra competes with the RAV4, CR-V, and Escape
over there.

The photo and this site makes it clear that they are not the same.

I never said they were the same. The X-Terra is Nissan USA's compact SUV,
it is their equivalent of our X-Trail. It is NOT a Pathfinder equivalent,
as it is priced much lower and is much smaller.

Oh geezs.

The X-Terra looks like ****our**** last years model Pathfinder which is
a size bigger than the X-Trail. The Aussie Pathfinder replacement is
sold in the USA as Pathfinder too.

The was never a sub compact SUV equivalent of X-trail sold in the USA.

Stop your foot dance. You got it wrong.

The original X-Terra went on sale in 1999 in the US, priced at $17349
(A$23,000), with a standard 2.4L 4-cyl , 107 kW. What do you call that?
Sounds pretty much like an X-Trail equivalent to me.

LOL. Blowing air conditioning onto a can is not the same as refrigeration.
A/C blows out air at what, 18 degrees C? Wow, your drink will be about 2
degrees lower than room temperature. Most people would still consider that
warm.

The air coming out of the aircon will be a *lot* colder than 18*C. How often
do you see something at 18*C produce condensation? (see that little trail of
water running away from your car on hots days? That's condensation in the
air con).

In the dash. Next to the air con. Stick a can in and blow the aircon on
high for 5 minutes. Cold can.

Don't try and explain stuff that complicated to David Z. He's an idiot.

Wrong, air exiting from a car a/c vent should be less than 4deg or the
a/c isn't working properly.
