It's only as good as a software translator will be, but it's better than
reading Spanish when you dont know Spanish (like me):

Ah, the South American Falcons. Diehard old Falcon fans know all about these
:)
Apparently when the production run of the original bodied Falcon was over in
the US in the mid '60's, Ford packed all the body tooling off to it's
Argentinian plant for production of a local low buck sedan in that country.
It worked pretty well, and became a popular car in that part of the country,
but because retooling costs for new models was so expensive in such a low
volume market they just simply kept stamping out the same body for years,
with strange minor updates to try to keep it looking "modern".
The results were the monstrosity in those pictures :)
They made sedans and wagons up until the early '90's IIRC, but
unfortunately, nothing like this:

I think the XT and Futura is boring as bat shit but the XR and the GT
(without the stripes) models looks good.
But this is where I see things go wrong!
Commodores with the XR8 humpy bonnets on and Falcons with the Monaro bonnets
on (scoops and all). Unless you need extra clearance under the bonnet in the
commodes if they have an top mounted supercharger (like a roots type).
What are people doing to their cars????
Don't get me started on Hybrids and their cons too.
:-)
