A further $2,000 price cut to the manual ES. Dealers are offering rebates
to customers who purchased the car at the old price:

So new pricing goes as :
New Mitsubishi pricing
380 sedan:
ES - $27,990
ES (a) - $29,990
SX - $32,990
SX (a) - $34,990
VRX - $36,990
VRX (a) - $38,990
LX (a) - $42,990
GT (a) - $44,990
The $40,990 LS has been dropped, replaced by a sporty SX model priced at
$32,990 for the five-speed manual.
If they started it off with this type of pricing to begin with they might of
sold the 380 in decent numbers.
Although the resale value hmmm.

Its interesting that previously the automatic was a $1500 option on the ES,
now it is $2000 extra. It really should be standard equipment.

Agreed since the auto versions are the most popular but have a manual option
as a no cost option on all of the models.

It's not a discount, the whole range has had a permanent price change,

I actually saw a 380 today ( in Surffers Paradise). They are as rare as
hen's teeth here. I have only seen a half a dozen or so since they were
released.
