Private AussiePhorum LAN game [CS 1.6]?

Yup! :dD, A Lan game for all of those guys that have CS 1.6, Counter Strike, many forums do the exact thing so why not us?. It will be alot of fun anyways :cool:. First we need to find out how many people play this game, Second we need to ask NSU for permission, Thirdly, We can book a server or set up a dedicated server [Someone with the best computer, An dual core is essential! Or else we wil lag to death] Then we need to set up the times, server ip etc. Hope this will work out!

Guys!, Am not talking about counter strike source, It's only counter strike 1.6! Geez are you guys joking me?, Even my old nVidia TNT2 pro , And Pentium 3 can handle it no prob. If you haven't got the game walk to your local game store and ask for it you could get it for about $5-$10 nowadays. And then just install steam. Insert CD key. Then your ready to frag, Anyways it would be really intersting with watcher in the game (^_^) b

Andrew, LAN would be the wrong wording, unless of course you plan on using some of that $3k system money to fly members from all over Aus. to your place.

I don't have the game or the money to get it at the moment and I don't have a broadband connection ( I assume that you need this to have a good connection).

1. You can't afford 10-20 Dollars?. You got to be joking me!, Steam is free. Download only takes 5mins for an 56ker
2. It's quite playable with dial up and no lag, BUt using broadband will increase your performance by a tad.

You won't regret this, There are many mods with the game [Superheroes/Warcraft 3 Great mod's]. It will keep you gaming for hours. I know you want it Watcher :D

Not everybody has a rich mommy and daddy to buy them whatever they want.

Out here in the real world, there is rent or home repayments to pay, car repayments, bills, families to feed, petrol to buy....
I think you should give a little more thought before posting.

If anyone will give me a very cheap site to buy it off (no a non-ebay link:p) i'll get it and join. I can't find it off any of my usual sites that i buy off. I can only find CS source. I usally enter online tournaments and the like and one time got 4th on a UT2004 comp.

Not all machines would be able to play the game smoothly though, but most should.
