Swimming in the nude feels great. I lost count how many times I've done it. Last time I did it was just a few weeks ago at Arno Bay. I forgot to bring my swimmers with me, and the undies kept slipping about, so I took them off and wore them around my neck.

Caution needs to be taken, though, when nude surfing. No, it's not so much the danger of the leash snagging around the dangly bits and throttling them, it's the excrutiating mother of a sunburn on the buttocks that can eventuate.

Anyway, skinny dipping is a lot more pleasant than being pushed into the swimming pool fully clothed, complete with glasses, wallet, phone...

What about the pain when naked bodysurfing and you catch a great wave only to end up dragging yourself up into the sand. That's nasty gravel rash. Or is it only me and my excellent body surfing skills aided by my special rudder?? :o

My fondest (and most recent :() nudie-run was into the beautiful waters off the Daintree Rainforest a winter or two ago. I'd just gone for a long run along the beach, hadn't brought my togs and just flung off the clothes and tore into the water (much to the amusement of various onlookers as I bounded over the first breakers - boing boing boing!). My God that place is so beautiful. Mountains, tropical rainforest, coral reef, all within a couple of hundred metres of each other.
