I am using a V3X and for some of my contacts whom I have entered their email
address, it is displaying their email address as the default contact point
(only for some contacts though not all). For example when you go into the
phone book it has the email icon next to their name even though I have a
mobile number entered for them, this is causing problems because it means I
have to change it whenever I want to call/SMS these people, is there any way
to fix this?

I have generally found that the one you put in first is the primary...
Did you put the email address in first?

Also.. check that "sort by" is set to name, not email.
