Just a friendly tip HaZ! Sellers that include postage costs in their
listings generally get better results! Buyers shouldn't have to ask!

There hav ebeen ebay sellers that charge $100+ for freight.
Many complaints about that. You think your getting a bargain then find
out that freight costs are more than what the item is worth to begin
with.

Well many sellers like to charge the exact amount for shipping. And how do
you know the cost without knowing exaclly the final destination and the
winners adress.

Use the Ozish Postage Calculator (Australian) in your auction listing, I do.
Put in the dimensions and weight of the package and your postcode when
listing the auction, any potential purchaser can then put in their postcode,
hit calculate, and know the Aust Post cost.

Cant say ive had any issues thus far. I have dozens of queries regarding
shipping costs and no-one complains. As someone else has stated Id prefer to
give the buyer a more precise cost of shipping rather than a guesstimate
which may be overpriced and turn te buyer off. It can work both ways as i
rarely buy from ebay sellers who state shipping costs as they useally
overcharge by a country mile, making profit out of it. Ive seen sellers
quote doubel shipping costs and i wont touch them myself. Most items will
generally be 5-10 dollars. Its rare that anything will cost more than $15 to
ship and that only if it doesnt fit in a post bag.
