Are there any manufacturers that still make side valve donks?

Last time I checked, *all* new engines were overhead valve :)

While the fewer parts in the valve train suggest that an OHC engine should
have fewer valve train problems, in fact reliability issues due to problems
with valve trains in modern engines are so rare that the type of valve gear
is not relevant to reliability. Almost all reliability issues come down to
accessories or manufacturing QC or occasionally cooling system design.

Choice of valve gear type may affect other aspects of engine performance,
but reliability? No.
