Yes....

Have u ever seen a race car running on lpg?

Size and shape will be boot space/shape dependant.

ie pop

Should be around $2-2500 give'n take 100..

Duel fuel cars tend to lose power on LPG as the spark timing is
generally set for gasoline. LPG has a higher octane (about 110) rating
then normal gasoline and timing can be advanced more safely meaning if
setup correctly an LPG car will make as much and most of the time more
power then its gasoline equiv. There are several low 10second turbo
cars running LPG.

I'm going to pretend that you asked about dual fuel.

The answer is yes, but why would you bother dragging around a petrol system
and not being able to optimise the engine for the LPG?

> and do they loose much power when on lpg ?

How much you lose or _gain_ depends on the LPG system fitted and what else
is done to the engine to suit.

Throwing away the petrol allows the engine to be modified to improve the
efficiency on LPG. Do a good enough job and it can be noticably better
on LPG than it ever was on petrol.

The pop-up headlights have nothing to do with the size of tank. The tank
is required to be located behind the driver's seat. :-)

Maybe you should do some research into that. Generally speaking racing
regs specify the fuel used. It's not a reflection of the potential of
the fuel.

there's more than a few very quick turbocharged drag cars on lpg.

I cannot recommend dual fuel using less expensive set-ups such as supplied
for around $2k. The vehicle will not work as well on LPG as on dedicated
LPG. There are enough LPG filling stations around to allow for LPG only
installations,..which is the way to go IMHO.

A nice unrestricted, good flowing gas throttle body is the go. Gas carbies
where the metering is achieved at the carby and not the convertor isbetter
still. Add a "street" intake manifold with a slight hike in CR and heat
resistant valve seats (if you're running a cast iron head/s), and you're in
good performance territory.

If you *had* half an ounce of brains, you'd realise that John's comments
were in reply to another useless post about lpg not being a good fuel
because it's not a popular race fuel. You, being the mindless little fuck
that you are, simply can't comprehend that.

Why don't you do the world a service and kill yourself, and stop being such
a useless oxygen thief?

Oh, and have a nice day :)

The wankers in Canberra will soon be increasing the price of LPG which will make LPG uneconomic to
use.
