We are going to buy a used vehicle and would to know normally how many
forms we should be getting from a dealer in NSW? it is covered by a
used car warranty(3 month or 5000km)

and also does anyone know where we can check a vehicle's registration
status on the internet? i found a website but was just for Tasmanian
cars.

If you have the cash or can arrange a bank loan i'd be going to the government auctions there are ones in every state.

About 4 or 5. Forget what they all are, but if the car is under $10k I think
it is, a warrenty doesnt apply. My daughter bought a $7k Sonata and it was
"unwarrantable'. The forms include the usual things like GST and transfer of
title. If its on HPurchase, there'll be more.

You need your liscence or some such other thing for ID.
