It may be providing a decent airflow thru
the case too, out the power supply fan.
The simplest way to see what difference it makes is to
monitor the cpu temp and see what difference it makes
on the hottest days by running with that fan on and off.
The P3 cpus dont get all that hot, you likely dont need that fan.
