Not necessarily. Mine was 192.168.0.1 by default (on the internal network).
If you don't want to use that range, it can be changed to 10.0.0.1 and the
dhcp server set to assign 10.0.0.2 to 10.0.0.whatever to devices set to
obtain an IP automatically.

I have a cameo wireless wlg2002 access point which I was given. It works
fine but currently it is set up as a bridge and so basicly acts the same as
a wired switch. I want to put some security on my network but however
cannot find an ip for this access point. It is supposed to have a web
config. I have used net stumbler which has found the access point via it's
MAC address but says it has no ip address. Has anyone got/used these access
points before and know how to get into web config if set up as a bridge. I
am worried that people around my area are able to get in especially as I am
moving to a more central city location. I use my adsl router as my dhcp but
cannot see it in the table eithor, just the computers connected by eithor
wired or wireless. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks in advance
