Which OS is that command is used for? Obviously not XP?!

Yep... Pipings in old MSDOS, 95, 98, NT, etc.etc.etc. right up to XP.
Pretty much anything with any form of MSDOS.

I have a folder with lots of songs in it, is there a way I can print this
folder.
I have clicked select all, but it still does not give me the print option.

Look for ptdirprn-setup.exe. A freebie from APC ( I think) Does what you
want plus more

Another way to do it would be taking a screen shot, edit it in paint then
print.

dir >dirlist.txt

Close command prompt window, open dirlist.txt in Notepad, and choose
File - Print

Any of the other suggestions, or there is another freebie called JR
Directory Printer. You can get it from any of the d/l sites including
download.com. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of some
others, but it's very small and simple, and does not require any
installation.
