Safe Mode

Hi...for some reason I cant connect to safe mode.
I am pressing F8 at start up...but its loading windows.
I am running XP prof SP2.

Any help would be appreciated.

are you using a wireless or USB keyboard. they don't activate early enough
in the boot sequence to have F8 work

Yes, its wireless....
but it can work early for Bios setup???

In Windows you can set XP to boot into safe mode on start up if you go
Start - Run - Type "msconfig" without the quotes and press enter.
select the BOOT.INI tab and select /SAFEBOOT minimal

Yes, mine does. Dont you have an old keyboard for temp use ?

They dont cost much even if you have to buy one.

I did boot with help from msconfig.
