Just spent weekend at mates place helping him sort his collection
of old Ford parts. XM and XP he tells me (I would not know shite
about this stuff, it's a bit before my time and not of interest to
me). Quite an impressive collection. He is not into this sort of
stuff any more, so wants to sell the lot.
Fairly large collection of hoods, panels, chrome strips for the
sides, etc. Partially/fully stripped out car bodies too.
He has to itemize the lot for Ebay still, but if anyone in here needs
anything, might be "your first bite at the cherry"
Simply email me at my posting addr address and I'll do a forward of the
email to him. Galston/Sydney/NSW area. I expect pickup only, depending
on what you need.

Shame he's in the wrong state, otherwise I'd probably be interested in
buying the lot in one go.

Said same to mate today meself.
Anyway, it's all gotta go - he has the shites about the quantity
of space it all takes up and could use the funds from sale of. I'm
still scratching me head about why he got into this in such a big way,
but didn't actually do much work on it.
His girl friend wanted this stuff (and actually did some sand blasting
of some of the panels), then settled on a Hillman Minx.
He is into Land Rovers (the real ones) and drives a Hilux Smurf
as a daily driver himself. Was that far too much info? :-)

Lot of people into old landrovers, god knows why!
30 years in the Army turned me right OFF them :-)
Only one i ever liked was the tiny series IIA 4 cylinder one.
Gutless and slow, but boy, what a tough little unit :-)

Umm,..not really. I always wondered about folks who are into Hillmans.
Would've liked to do one up myself. A reasonable condition '54 model fetches
about $1000.
