Load capasity is 6 cubic metres. They do hold a lot those things, better
than the old ones for load thats for sure.

Saw one of those the other day too... Not a 6 cylinder?
A 6 litre would be a *shitload* of fun, tho'
Seen one floating around with a 351.
Cheers,

Yep, sure is confusing!
Normally a number like that is the motor capacity.
David Zyk says it's the cargo capacity??

Yeah due to it squareness it can hold boxier items.
Ron, I would like to see the Hiace with the new Hilux V6 though, I still
cant figure out why they dont marry that motor into the van range. Id
rather drive a V6 van than the ute for workign out of as the Van donks never
been that fast.
Hmm thinking about it, the V6 4litre would go really well in the Townace,
even better! Waahhoo, drifting in the work van.

Yeah but gets dicey with 1200kgs of gear in the back, you can still do it in
the wet though. Tyres get hammered with doing a full set in under 32,000kms
:o( and thats the origional set of tradie tyres

You can....
Provided you have the tyres over inflated, you're in first gear, you're
going up a steep hill *and* it's raining :)

I think you'll find it's the length of the vehical, as in 6M long. Saw
an add somewhere stating this fact, being longer than the previous model.
Aido. :).

Nope, its not the length. That's what I thought at first too, but the Hiace
only comes in two lengths: LWB (4.7m), and SLWB - (5.4m).
Not even the almighty Ford Econoline is 6m long - the longest version of
that van is 5.9m.

How about a flat six, it wouldn't use so much room :-)
Then there is the flat 10 cylinder diesel from a leopard tank, that would
give it some GRUNT :-)
