Sounds like it must be an auto "S" model.
Still sounds a little bit much though. What State are you in?
In WA, an auto "S" would cost $20200 + on road costs
(lic, stamp duty and dealer delivery) unless it's white (-$200)
Yes, lots of experience with Swifts - all good!

You're being ripped off - the Swift has an RRP of only $15990. On road
costs should not add more than $2-$2.5k to that price. The dealer is adding
$6600 to the price! NO on-road costs would be that much. I'd say he's
taking advantage of the fact that the Swift is hugely popular and making a
nice profit. Go immediately to another dealer.

As usual, carrying on without the facts...there is more than one
version of the Swift and we don't know which one the OP is looking at.

We can assume he is referring to either the manual or automatic base model,
because he has made no reference to any model variant. The base model is
just called "Swift" and thats all he's written here, so we can only go by
what he's written.

According to the SMH review of the "S":
$17,990 (man) or $19,990 (auto), plus options and on-road costs.

I like the look of these actually. those funny little hips out the back, and
the very curved front.

Be hard to fit a nice bullbar to it though.

Have had an auto Swift S for a month now. So far pretty impressed with
everything, particularly quietness, handling, huge rear-view mirrors,
engine power after 1000kms, smooth transmission (pity only a four spped
though), and seating room. Don't like tiny boot, lack of MP3 player, no
illumination for window switches when lights are on...........bugger
all really!
The trip computer only has two functions; outside temp & fuel
consumption. As most trip computers give you an average in "litres per
100 kms", I didn't realise this was "kms per litre" & was initially
surprised that it was averaging about 14 (very poor for L/100km but not
bad for km/L, especially seeing as our home is 3 km up hills which is
usually V hard on fuel consumption & brakes).

I reckon it has the proportions of a roller skate - every time I see
one, that's what I'm reminded of. Still looks good, though.
