Help,

Resusitating a cheapie to save fuel costs. Seats are stuffed. Any one put
other seats into an 82 KE70 Corolla? Which fit easily?

Also, lights drop out when LH blinker clicks back after turning. High beam
is ok if I go straight to hi gh beam, but if I flash high beam, all lights
go out. Help?!?!?

Smelly

Indicator switch is worn, maybe it will clean with a pull apart and WD40,
but it may be easier to replace the dipper switch with a floor mounted one
like I did on an old KE20 that is sitting out in the paddock nowadays.

Check the wreckers, there are a range of seats that will fit with little
modification, most of the better (older) wreckers will probably be able to
tell you off the top of their head. I put KE50 ones in the KE20.

Hope this helps,
Pete

Just measure the mount points and look for a set with the same
measurements, maybe a later model Corolla, Corona, Celica

sounds like you need a new indicator/dipper/headlight switch

wreckers should have some

What were you driving?

That's one seriously unsafe vehicle - shithouse crumple zones and no
airbags, etc. Is a few bucks saved on fuel worth it?

I guess you haven't heard how they can save you from dying when your
head hits the steering.

They can save you, but a lot of people are now quads as the rest of there
body is stuffed but they are still alive because the airbag saved them. but
yes, do thay save a lot of people.

But judging by your comments you have probably never ridden in the back of a
ute drinking beer with mates. Far too dangerous. Or gone bush bashing.

I know all about crumple zones and so on. But as a single Dad I dont have
the luxury of spendng a fortune on a new car with all the mod cones. I
would love one, but all I asked was for some advice, not condemantiont.
