OK, so I thought the Falcon St Lane Cove Tunnel bus lane changes
caused bizarre behaviour.
Today's drive into work ...
Firstly the SHT was blocked by a broken down Magna in the right lane,
then
the ED by a broken down truck. OK, so around an hour after leaving home
witness the most bizarre thing I think I've seen yet.
I drive a rather tall 4x4 pickup truck so can see into the vehicles
around me, and you see some pretty weird stuff that is in some cases
far
too much information, just the other day the usual "apply lipstick
while
driving", however today's effort is a totally new one for me and
totally
takes the cake ...
Get this - someone driving along in total control of vehicle while
having the newspaper crossword puzzle perched on the steering wheel,
while activly writing in the letters with a pen.

A mate of mine was an interstate coach driver and he said they gave
out a lunch menu so the passengers could write in their names and tick
one of a selection of things so they could call it through to the place
they were stopping to save delays.
He said they would count out the list and tally it all up on the
steering wheel while doing 100kmh.
Amazing that he never killed anyone.
Stupidity IMHO

Heard a story of a rep doing similar and sticking their pen in their mouth.
They then had a fairly slow crash. Less than 30km/h. The pen went straight
through their palette and into their brain. Game over.

I read from time to time.....,as my PDA is a pain, and I hate sms and
mobile phones, have to stop for this,I go for the pen and paper on the
dash.
Mainly gets used to dot down cars and number plates of speeding
drivers.
70% of which are VL bombodores, these days VT's come into the scene
quiet often.
Looks like, small finance the small mind, hate to know what happens when
one has $400k's worth of finance.
Die dumb,live later.......ahh ha.

Good grief!!!
Driving is getting even more bizarre for me. Today waiting at the
'lights on the new Falcon Street entry ramp coming back from work,
some pax in taxi along side me tryed to offer me a business card.
We start off driving and he goes "quick grab this!!", so while
driving along at prolly 10 or so kph I manage to grab the card from
him. It was a business card for the 'cab company of which he was a
pax in?!?!?
Is there some sort of lunar event I should be aware of this week?
