Why in the HELL would anyone want to carjack a Mazda 323? Time was
when you could be assured that you'd be safe from carjacking if you
were in a white Camry, but if memory serves me right one of THEM was
carjacked in the past year as well.

Ah, I recall fondly seeing an item on a news program regarding an anti
theft device that was installed on some South African cars. It was
basically a flame thrower mounted under the car. I don't know whether
it was ever used operationally, and certainly it would be regarded as
very naughty in this jurisdiction, but still, one can dream...
