You said you use it and I saw you can do a 30 day trial so am trying it. In
order to try it out and see if it suits me, I decided to add some of my own
home computers and also a few customer computers, a relo's and a couple of
friends, 1 who lives in Qld and another in NZ. So far, I have yet to get the
signal back from Logmein that all the customers, friends and relo have
signed in and done it. I gave them the option - if they want it they can do
it and if they don't, no worries.
Anyway, looking around their web site I chanced to check out pricing
options. Talking in US dollars, it is $12.95 per computer per month if you
take the 1-10 package and decide to pay monthly.
Is it WORTH it when you consider UltraVNC does the same thing with Port
Forwarding on the local router (should there be one) and gets through for
FREE? I see a shit of a lot more info about the remote computers than
UltraVNC shows (naturally) but most of the time with Logmein or anything
else, the idea would be that the remote user has SOME idea of what is going
on as a problem and have told me and the machine be able to be taken over
and checked out by me, get in and do the job and get out, end of job. Eg, I
cant see the use in the info for the most part.
So, IS it worth it compared to free progs you know of?

LogMein has a free option. I use it often to check for personal emails
when I am at work.

Yes, but you can set up or add more than one computer into your free
account.

Yeah I understand you can do that but say, for example, you have 10
computers set up in your account, you can only EVER control one and not any
of the other 9..... is that correct? See, if it is wrong, I cant see the
point of them ever charging for it if you can set up what you want and
control what you want. the purpose of paying is so you can get that ability
and I thought free was set up what you like but only ever able to control
one. You ever controlled more than one?
