Gday,

I have been using ulead dvd movie factory to edit out ads in my recorded
from TV shows... now the lip sync starts off ok and then gets worse each
time I delete the ads...

I have done some googling and it seems that in MPEG there are frames
(that are not ok to cut on) and KEY Frames (which are ok to cut on)

I cant seem to see in the ulead prog anywhere that distinguishes the
frame type...

Can anyone suggest an editor to cut only on a KEY frame? Even if this
means deleting a few frames of the show or keeping a few frames of ads?

regards,

Mick

PS.

On a slightly different note... I have a few tv eps I downloaded of the
net that exhibit this prob... they are Xvids... can these be fixed???

Adobe Premiere Pro lets you adjust the audio independent of video...
also useful if you want to save the soundtrack of a dvd...

I use VideoRedo Pro and don't have any more out of sync problems.
Best program I ever purchased.

I concur with Falco. VideoRedo Plus is the best MPEG editor around and it's
really fast. I use it often to remove ads from FTA digital TV the author and
burn to DVD. It also has a very useful "ad-detective" that looks for ads in
the program.
