What can you say, how bad is the Essendon football team?
3 goals in front with ten minutes to play, and playing against a team who's
atrocious field kicking is only matched by their decision making and
appalling conversion, and they still can't get over the line.
Can they possibly win another game for the season?
Can Carlton?
Having witnessed this farce at close range I'd have to say that any team
beaten by either of these two better have a good hard look.
BTW Krud, is this the worst losing (non winning) streak in the history of
the once mighty Bummers, or was this a "semi-win"?

It plays havoc with the stats. In the future when discussing losing streaks
we'll have to decide if how to regard a draw.

I do beleive that the once mighty crummers were in front a couple of times
so when & where & who capitulated is a matter of discussion.
BTW bad form booing a former servant of your club or was it reverse

It was booing sure enough, and even though I wasn't taking part myself this
has been the norm ever since players started swapping clubs under these
circumstances.
Aker will be booed by Brisbane fans next year, but Kris Massie isn't booed
by Carlton supporters when we play Adelaide because he was traded against
his will and fans understand the difference.
Have you been living under a rock?

Exactly Neil, when players transfer for greed they are always booed by fans.

In saying that, Aker shouldn't be booed by Brisbane fans, he stuck it out
and lost a heap of money for years at Brisbane. Its not money that's got him
leaving, its a fall out with the couch.

A section of the crowd will still boo him for a peceived lack of loyalty,
regardless or what he's done in the past, it's the nature of things.

Thanks for not picking up the obvious typo lol

yeah I am sure they will, but I don't think he deserves it though, he could
have left years ago when he was worth mega dollars.

He'll be getting a big cheer from me. Guilty of being human.
