Help please...re recording on HD DVD

Any help appreciated......

Okies...I have a hard disc drive DVD (not in my puter).....

Question......Is it possible to tape Pay TV programs?? If so, how? I have tried & failed...
The techie said it was connected correctly to do so when he installed it last month. It is connected to the plasma TV.
It records fine for free to air etc...

More info please, brand and model of each piece of equipment and how it is currently connected, it can be done but need more info to help you out.

Its a TEAC Plasma TV, and the HD DVD is Tevion. We have Fox Digital.

Hubby seems to think the prolly is between the Fox connection & the HDD...

Can let u know more tomorrow.

One output from Fox box goes to the recorder, select that input as your source on the recorder, choose where you want the recording to go (HDD or DVD, suggest HDD first so you can edit if required) and that's about it.

If you set your TV to the input that your recorder is set to you will see whats on Fox when you have the correct input set on the recorder shown on the TV, you still didn't mention how it was connected, if you still can't work it out reply with a detailed list of exactly how it is connected, which AV connector to which, eg Scart output of Foxtel connected to AV1 input of recorder, which input of the TV the recorder is connected to etc
