Is the new engine the 2.7 litre Hyundai V6? It would surely have to be
better than the previous Rover pile-o-shite.
Does it still only have six proper seatbelts in an eight seater car,
though?

Yes, the new engine is the 2.7L on the SWB model (3.8L on the LWB model).
However it is not powerful enough as the vehicle weighs over 2,000 kg!
I was very surprised that they did not fit the 3.3L 'Lambda' engine instead.
Probably a cost cutting measure.

So what is the unbadged engine in the LWB model? Still Hyundai?
The Sales Person (much like a paid commercial, and just as believable) Told
me kia make there own motors. Maybe a subsidiary company of Kia?
Thanks for any info.
as for the search engine quip, there is plenty of info on previous models
but it's the 06 one I'm interested in.
otherwise i wouldn't have asked.
