LOL. Won't be any. I'm still on my original PS2 which was purchased at launch in 00. I have faith.

Remember, there was a large delay in between Japans release and ours with the PS2.
The original Australian PS2 was fine, but that couldn't be said for the Japanese consoles. It's the same with every console, even the 360 had its share of problems on it's U.S release with overheating, Blade problems etc.

So, given the fact that the PS3 is a worldwide release in November, I'm expecting teething problems, hence my wait until march/april '07. :)

There is meant to be some announcement from Sony on monday 21st about the PS3 before The Liepzig Game Convention.

So it won't be a shipping delay cos I expect that :D

I'm hoping it'll be a remake of Final Fantasy VII game, or something cool like that. Will probably be something shit.

That would be the ultimate announcement. It would have to be one of the best RPG's ever made, it deserve a console update (no story change, just purely graphical, think final fantasy anthology etc. )
The tech demo looked so sweet and got such a response last year that they'll definitely need a remake.
I'm hoping it's something along the lines of they found a way to include the vibration feedback into the controller.

Big news, Hardly. A gimmick, yes.
Case mods for ps2 have been around for years.As I said, if there is big news for the Playstation 3, expect it at their press conference on the 23rd.

Technically no one said it was ps3 news, but it had been strongly implied by that particular site.
So yeah the 23rd is supposedly the day.

Anyways there were tonnes of people who thought the same way.
The article talked about the disapointing E3 ps3 news and how sony wanted to put spin onto the negative media regarding the ps3.
No one had a clue that the news was a pink last gen console.
