You must mean Aurora, because normal Australian FTA channels are not
otherwise available via satellite. You'd need a satellite receiver and a
smart card. If you don't mean AU channels, then mostly only foreign language
channels or Christian channels are available on a Foxtel-sized dish on FTA.

quote: [Aurora] is meant for those whom are located in country areas or are
in a poor terrestrial signal (Normal TV Antenna) reception area.

Services (Tv Channels) such as ABC TV SA, SBS SA, ABC TV Q, SEVEN
CENTRAL,SBS QLD, AURORA TUNE, CLK, ABC TV SE, ABC TV WA, GWN TV, WLK, WIN,
ABC TV NT, IMP TV, INFO CH 31, WESTLINK, TVSN, IMP TV2, HL CH Plus RADIO and
others can be veiwed with this card.

Do a considerable amount of reading on here, http://www.vetrun.com.au
but you do also realise that you will need to buy a satellite receiver,
as the foxtel receiver is not going to do the job of FTA, if that what your
considering using. You will also need some sort of satellite finder.
[signal strength meter]
and while your at it, the pay providers dish is not really suitable for
what you want to do.

Thanks. I was enquiring because the landlord wont allow us to put a aerial on the roof, so I was hoping that I would be able to use the satellite to recieve a better signal (of the normal FTA channels such a seven, nine and ten) than my current 'rabbit ear' set-up can provide.
