Decided to get the latest Office updates from Microsnot. Being on dialup
this took a while. Loaded them, it then wanted to be activated? WTF it was
already activated, FAILED activation. Rang Bill's lot, spoke to the
subcontinent (usefull as mammaries on a male bovine). She put me in touch
with tech, give hima rating of 3 burnt out matches (bright as a burnt out
match). I'm sorry but you must speak to the person who sold you the software
to get another code number.
Spoke to the guy we spent $10k with a few years back and his suggestion
delete & reinstall. Got the cordless phone (ready to call 132058) & set to
uninstalling. Reloaded and it did not ask whether I wanted to activate via
internet of over the phone. Started Word still no request, went to help and
hit activation button. "This product is already activated."
Moral to the story Don't update.
