But what a game!

Syderneys first win at Subi against the Weagles since 2001
and only their 5th ever win at Subi

Judd just didn't have the Goodes in the end to pull it off.

But still two home finals. With Crows and Swans in form, not good news for
Melbourne teams.

And just how many Finals did Melbourne have? Oppps, yes, two. WA will have
3, Adelaide 2 and Sydney 1. So, interstate 6, Melbourne 2. (Don't count the
GF)

.....so Perth will have TWO Semi-Finals instead, which is TWO more games than
the VICs :)

I don't give a toss about how many Vic finals there are
This whole Vic/Interstate thing is only a figment of the
imagination of WA/SA fans. Come over here and I think
you will find it is just a media beat up and nothing else

My point was that WA claims had at least 1 Prelim chalked in
as home & hosed and were optimistically thinking of two

You now have two Semis and are travelling for both prelims
(as I expect both teams to win their semis)
and I suspect neither are looking forward to the Prelims
anywhere near as much as if they were in Melbourne

Disagree with that

Both Melb papers (well okay, one paper and one tabloid) were complaining
about the lack of Victorian finals, looking for reasons for interstate
domination, postulating as to which Vic club had a chance if any etc. They
write that because its what the punters want to read.

Outside of Vic the interstate clubs are more concerned with beating each
other.

The media beat-up as I said.
The don't write it because the punters want to read it
they write it because they want to generate controversy
fact is none of us care unless our team is playing
it is just a non-event otherwise always has been always will be

Try coming over here. No one I know thought that a) Eagles would walk over
Swans. Yes, the MEDIA maywell chalk thing up, but not us. And if you read
one of my previous mails you'd understand that most thoughtful fans realised
that Freo had one hell of a job at Crowland.

As for intersate rot, well, my response was to those that appear or are
seemingly smiling at WA clubs losing both QF's.
