Has anyone used this card? Is it solid driver-wise or is there a lot of
pissfarting around with poor quality software?
I assume it doesn't do EDGE :(, but is it network-locked at all?

I've got a different version of the same thing (about 18 months old), so
I'm not sure if it's the same story, but...
Driver-wise it's fine. Generally you just use the drivers that come with
it, but if you don't want to you can use the standard windows (or Linux)
"serial" driver, and just treat it like a normal modem.
Performance-wise it's... umm.. well it's GPRS. Slow, laggly, but still
perfectly useable depending on what you're trying to do with it.
Personally I much prefer my "3" card - 384kbps is nice :)
