"Telstra in first on mobile TV"
Article basically says Telstra will launch PayTV-on-your-phone next
month. Which ties in with the 850Mhz UMTS network launch, no?
"Customers will need to buy a new phone to receive the channels, with
Telstra initially using Samsung, LG and little-known Chinese supplier
ZTE."
Why? My 2100MHz 3G phone does streaming video no problems. Does this
mean:
- Telstra will only be offering the service on _their_ 3G network, not
the one shared with Three.
- The initial handsets offerred for the 850 network will be from
Samsung, LG and ZTE.
