View Full Version : Is there a log for "Add remove programs" from control Panel ?

im trying to remove a program.
in CPanel i try and remove it there and get an error message :
"unable to load DLL"
as in typical microsoft fashion it doesnt tell you what DLL
it cant find.
is there a log for this ?

Administrative Tools, Event Viewer.

I am trying to remove Yahoo Messenger from my computer. When i try the answer
i ge6t is "could not open Install.Log file. Can anyone help. Thanks

You may actually have to re-install it, and then immediately uninstall it.
If the installer was launched from a temporary folder, which isn't uncommon
for something like that program, and then the temp folders were cleared, the
install log will be gone and the uninstaller may not work.
While this is an effect of poor programming practices, you can often avoid
it by downloading the program rather than running it from online, and
install from the download folder.
