I'm currently paying 11c/30 secs to mobiles (with a 20c flagfall and 25c
SMS), any cheaper options? Don't care whether it's PAYG or billing nor what
network it is. Just want the cheapest call rate to mobiles on any network
(and preferably landlines, too)

Virgin Mobile 'Motor Mouth' (pre-paid, resold Optus airtime)
http://www.virginmobile.com.au/rates/super_special_offers.html
Would you spend $25 in a month? Call rate is 10c/min (5c/30sec) to any
fixed or mobile, with a 25c flagfall. Startup cost is $5 for a SIM,
which includes $10 of credit.
Exetel Mobile (post-paid, resold Vodafone airtime)
http://www.exetel.com.au/mobile_plans.php
http://www.exetel.com.au/mobile_plans_capped.php
Range of options - "Mobile X" is pretty appealing, with 15c/min
(7½c/30sec), with a 15c flagfall. $15/month minimum spend, 15c for
SMS.
Their capped plans aren't too bad either - $20 cap for $120 value, or
$40/$280. At best, you pay only 1/6 or 1/7 (respectively) of the rated
tariff of 60c/min. (eg 10c/min calls on the $20 cap, billed per
second).
$20 SIM cost for any of these plans; also note a high price of $1.25
for standard MMS.
Digiplus DigiMobile 9c plan (post-paid, resold Optus airtime)
http://www.digiplus.com.au/Mobile/talk_plans.asp
Only marginally cheaper rate than what you pay now - 9c/30sec, higher
flagfall at 25c, 24.2c SMS. $9/month minimum spend.

Thanks!...that Virgin Motor Mouth is a sweet deal. I wonder if they'll
extend it past January. Now, just have to get out of my current contract and
port... :-)
