anyone know of a good place to chase down a cheap 8gb iPod nano?

ebay can be a bit dodgy coz the postage cost could make the ipod cost equal to or more than what you'd payin the shop anyway! and if ur lucky and someone got one say as a prezent and just wants to get rid of it, then maybe they'd sell it cheaper than $380 (i think they're $380 off the top of my head)

Retail-wise, Ipods are the same price almost everywhere (coz the ipod resellers can't set the price or ever put the ipods on sale). sometimes the ipod superstores (like the one in ivanhoe, melbourne) can lower the price for ya, but the 8gb is new! if you have any discount vouchers for any colesmyer place (eg. staff discount) you can get them cheaper than everyone else (even if it is 5%.

because they're the new versions of the nanos, they probably wont go on sale anytime soon. If you wanted a 2 of 4 GB then the prices for them have dropped almost 50bus! (the 2GB is now as the price the 1gb was, and the 4GB is now ($299) at the price the 2gb was)

I am considering buying one in the uk
a friend is coming over
he can get it from a cashback site - he says a good price
any such places or sites should I say in Oz. I know they are big in the uk - I have only just moved back here - but not sure if they are legit (most important) and if they are any good.
Any input?? or has anyone used one in oz?? they seem like a good idea but I am a bit dubious :confused:
