hi all
can someone please let me know what this show is like - have not seen an
episode but would be keen to know if it is worthwhile and remotely up to
'The Office' standard
thanks

It is. Seriously.
I love The Office as much as anyone, and Extras is more than worthy. The
last two episodes in particular, are quite possibly better than anything in
The Office. It's glorious.

All my comments are positive too.
After watching the first series on DVD, I've been leeching the second series
as UK tv caps, it's going from strength to strength. The Daniel Radcliffe
episode was my favourite from series two until I saw the Sir Ian McKellen
episode over the weekend...great stuff!

It's a myth that there's a "curse of King Tut's tomb" and 'most ' of
the people who were present at the opening of the tomb died swift,
horrible deaths. Of the 22 present at it's opening, 21 were alive 10
years later

Five out of the six episodes of season 2 have aired in the UK and are
lurking around on Channel BT. And brilliant stuff it is, too... just wait
for the exploding fizzy drink moment from the Ian McKellen episode :-)

'Yes' on both counts. From S1, the Kate Winslett ep and the final neat
little tie-in are first-class TV.

The Kate Winslett and Patrick Steward eps are my favs from season 1.
I'm also very glad Stephen Merchant has a large acting part in this, refer
to the Sir Ian McKellen episode from series two...nasty! :))

It is great and the 2nd season hilarious. Loved the BAFTA's ep. Also
recently came across a British animation series called Monkey Dust really
funny and a bit off. Green Wing is a fave at the moment just watching
season 1, Sendit.com had a good deal on season 1&2 boxset.

As everyone else has said, absolutely! I don't like The Office that much
anyway. Extras is superb.
The David Bowie appearance in the second ep was my personal fave so far.

Can anyone point me towards good .torrent/s for Extras season 2? I've found
plenty but haven't got any to work very well so far.

I have got all mine of Torrentspy with no failures yet. I have been getting
them week by week though, so hopefully the series early eps are still
current.

The funniest part was Patrick Stewart... "is there any nudity in it?".
And the Rosa Parkes incident, LOL.

Have you seen the out-takes on that scene? I'd like to know how many takes
it took.
