Also you cannot be running a legal Australian DVD business if you are selling off-shore releases, I don't know if everyone's forgotten but despite the ACCC support for multi-zone DVD players and parallel DVD importing. It's still not yet legal.
And the price you’re offering is outrageous!

Kiddies may prefer widescreen but as an adult i want the best way to have this film. Have both versions. Or if the kids want the full screen version, they can buy the video - after all kids dont understand the concept of 5.1 and improved picture quality.
I got the R2 version - awesome DVD

A fact 'TECS' always seems to ignore or batter off with phony excuses.
Maybe a friendly call to the ACCC will do the trick.
But TECS, a word of advice; If I was doing something illegal, I wouldn't be stupid enough to give out my mobile phone number.

I got the R2 version - awesome DVD The best way to have the film is thus: NTSC-VHS with a 2-HEAD PAL-ONLY VCR hooked up to a 7" Black-and-White NTSC LCD using a PC-Beeper for the sound. For improved quality please use magnet with Tape.
Honestly, some people try too hard. You went and bought the R2 version instead of the R1?!?

Hey screw this region. I want to see it go out of business and people to loose their jobs. I want them to suffer like they've made me suffer. Fullscreen only, rental windows, extras not carried over, unreasonable waiting times for films to arrive. I've had enough. Good on TECS for importing and taking money away from local distributors. Nowadays, I just go out of my way to buy Region 1 even if specs are identical. So should you.
Stop complaining about TECS, MrMacabre. You are just worried that if parallel importing is allowed you want be able to scalp your crap on Ebay.
And it is idiots like danielb with their pro pan and scan nonsense who think they are "paying for half da picture" when watching a film in letterbox. Harry Potter is not a kiddie film. It will be hailed as a classic in years to come just like the Wizard of Oz.
Anyway, help bring down region 4 and it's money hungry movie butchering distributors.

Attitude??? I am just so sick and tired of being jerked off by local distributors. Maybe you like being jerked off by the Warner Brothers. I certainly don't.

Firstly, are you just naturally this stupid or are you trying to act like you are? Coming onto an Australian DVD forum shouting "Hell with region 4" is certainly not the cleverest way to make new friends.
And for the record, who said I was complaining?
