Only markings on the board : 845GV-M2 REV 1.2
15-H85-011202
and that it was made in China

Socket 478

3 x PCI

no AGP

2 x DIM

Intel Chipset

Yes I have tried Google and can not get an exact match anywhere!

Tried d'loading and running Belarc? (altho I'm finding more and more
that Belarc is simply using what Windows has already identified
hardware as, anyway ....)

Not running in a system yet, it was sent to me as replacement and I was
after drivers just in case

No, tried MSI close but no exact match

google 845GV-M2 seem to produce something for me.
basically uou go to the MSI site and play match the pictures.

Google says it might come from an Acer Aspire SA20

nope he already said it wasn't that one.
It is in fact one of these elcheapo motherboards with onboard Intel Extreme
Graphics that uses generic drivers.
