View Full Version : SBS Time Hasn't Changed for Daylight Savings

SBS in Canberra is still broadcasting its time as EST, not EDT. It
mucks up my PVR's clock every time I change channel to SBS, which
throws out any schedules set to trigger for other channels, not to
mention making the EPG useless.
I haven't owned a digital box through a time change before. How long
should I expect to have to work it manually before SBS fixes its time
signal?
Thanks,

I'm in the same boat, I've only had a digital box less than 6 months and
had similar problems with different channels stuffing the box around.
Found an option on the Supernet box for "Summer Time" and all that did
was set my clock an hour forward but then all EPG data for all stations
was an hour behind.

Yeah, it's annoying. I missed a few programs because timers didn't
fire properly before I realised and changed to manual time on the box.
I did ring SBS, but got the impression she was puzzled why a viewer
would regard a time signal as important.
They fixed it on Thursday.
