That's a bit rich coming from the Ford boys when the BA had more recalls
than the VE within the first 3 months.
You want to hear about a stupid factory recall?
Mitsubishi incorrectly stamped their compliance plates on the Ralliart
Colts. They only put seatbelts for 4 in the cars and the compliance plates
states it's a 5 seater. It not just a faulty seat belt, it is entirely
MISSING!
Of course, there is no negative publicity on this one because Mitsubishi is
not a tall enough poppy for the media to cut down.

Seems a lot of pot calling kettle black there.
And they accuse people acting like 12 years old at ls1.com.au when we
actually praise ford for some of their products. I even asked the mrs about
a territory turbo as the family truckster as a replacement for the Calais
she said nope she does not like the styling of any softroaders.

I agree .. the BA had some serious issues when released many didn't
make the media
eg. var. timming cam shafts that would blow the motor etc. etc.

However at Holden at least they detected it at the factory testing
ground on routine testing.
Unlike Mistusbishi which have caused Deaths in Japan and elswhere by
trying to "Bury"
defects to avoid costly recalls.

If any company should be shut down world wide
- it should be Mistubishi for their past lapses of product liability.

Mention that to AFF you end up getting banned or the account suspended.
Its amusing how they can have their one eyed blue oval opinions but if
anyone disagrees with what they are saying then they have a sook.

They must really have short memory spans when it comes to problems with
their own beloved brands.

It a shame that they have the level headedness of a worm.

Only company that I know of in Australia that makes seatbelts is Autoliv
in Campbellfield Vic.
Its possible there are others but Autoliv is the main supplier.

I don't know, but I can probably find out. I dare say local, but can't be
100% sure.

indeed. they also fail to mention the fact that holden is outselling ford by
almost 2 to 1 at the moment.

ls1.com.au loves any product that is well put together, and to that end you
can see many threads extolling the virtues of the typhoon and tornado and
various other fords. on FFA all you get RE: holden is pathetic and idiotic
diatribes on why the poster hates holdens guts and wishes it financial
disaster.

Falcon sales would look a lot better if the numbers included Territory
sales because a quite a few Falcon buyers are still buying Ford but they
choose a Terri instead.
