If you want one of these make sure you get in when they open on thursday.
They have very limited number of these specials just to attract shoppers and
they will be sold out by late morning. The specials usually start on
thursday.

Nice cheap LCD TV too
Mate was telling me about his last trip to Hardly Normal last week end
saw two guys carrying out what looked to be a 50+ inch size Plasma/LCD
TV. they loaded it into the back of the ute
and then just walked back into the shoping centre leaving the TV sitting
there in the ute in the dark

They just forgot to leave the keys in the ute with it running :-) I dropped
a 32" lcd off to a customer the other day, I left it at their back door
while I quickly found a park. It was in their garage but the garage backed
onto a car park. Someone double parked and an old lady was too scared to go
past. I had to get out and drive her car forward and then find a park just
as 50 kids piled out of kinder to 50 waiting 4wds. I should have just double
parked like everyone else seems to while I took it all the way in. :-)

It would be cheap at $299, $399 is nothing special really.I believe
they are made by Asus
At $399 you can buy Navman and other brands too, these GPS's in general
have been coming down month by the month
Looking at the specs. of the Aldi unit, u *may* have trouble updating
the maps in the future, even though they claim its *2006* data
Anyway being Aldi, use it 6 months and take it back for a refund, they
are good like that
For mine you cannot go past a TomTom or the new GNS8350 Uniden, getting
the Uniden *wholesale* very soon
