Hi all,
I've got a Supernet 80G box.
Editing a recording i make a stupid error - Instead of hitting 'delete
from here till end', i accidently selected 'delete from start to
here'[!!!!
Can't I undo this? (i havent recorded anything since)
I know you can use software to access the programs on the hard drive
(and convert them to PC), but is there an undelete function?
Man!!!
I wish there was an 'are you sure? function!!
If i upgrade the firmware will this possibly help me access the hard
drive ?

If it's a USB connection, connect it to your PC. It should then appear
as another hard drive on the PC. Use any Undelete software to examine
the drive and try and recover the file.
Just by turning the unit on you run the risk of overwriting the file,
though.

No idea, but I doubt it.

A common problem with all the Digenius-based PVRs (Wintal and Digicrystal
as well). I've long said there should be a confirmation defaulting to "no"
for that function as well as the delete-program function and *especailly*
the full hard disk format :)

Easily? Sadly no. The PVR's operating system provides no undo facility. And
with no USB connection to access the PVR's hard disk, the only thing you
can do to recover the show now is to remove the hard disk (voiding your
warranty), stick it in a PC and use special software called DigeniusDisk to
recover the file if possible.
All the instructions for doing this, with photos and software links, can be
found here:

Do us a favour, and email Digenius in Germany suggesting that - the more
the better :) Their contact details are at http://www.digenius.de

Nope, unfortunately not.
