Intervideo DVD8 Problem

I am having problems launching WinDVD8,I click the icon but nothing happens,
I thought there might be a software conflict so I have done a Selective
Start Up but this didn't work. (It did work originally when I installed program)

Hi Randoid, What more can I say,nothing happens when I try to open program
and I cannot remember doing anything that could have created this problem.
On the other hand, I am having no such problem with DVD7 which I have
re-installed.

Re-install it... Or get a different version.

I way ahead of you guys,have done both but hasn't changed things.
I am not impressed with Intervideo's technical support,I am still waiting for a
response to another problem relating to activating DVD 8 on Vista RC1.
It has been two weeks no,so much for 48 hour response time.
