Hi,
I am newto this.
I normally convert my avi files to dvd using convertxtodvd or WinAvi. This obviously takes alot of time.
I have just purchased the XMS855 so I can play avi files on the stnad alone player.
Because DVD's hold alot more information than cd's I was hoping for some help in burning avi's to dvd in order to play thru my new player.
Is this possible?
What program will I need?
Can I burn multiple avi's to the one dvd?
Any help in this matter will be greatly appreciated.

Just burn them like you are backing up your data, it will play the files burnt as a data disc without any dramas (providing the files are encoded in a compatible format of course) ISO9660 mode is usually the best way to go

If the file size is over 2 Gb you would need to select UDP format. It is available in Nero.
Don't forget to update the firmware of your unit.

Sorry for the Delay, I have been away.

It's awesome freddy. Quality and clarity and sound are all exceptional.
Have had a few problems with some animine stuff sticking, but I think the floors are in the avi files themselves, as only VLC seems to play them smoothly.

I purchased a second one for my mother for x-mas so I can continue to share stuff with her, and my mate has also bought one for the same reason.
