Have been given a 90s' Mit. Triton ute. ( petrol motor)
it has a BAD oil leak from the front of the engine. Anyone
had 2 replace one of these ? I assume the engine is same/similar
to that used in Sigmas. A quick glance suggests that the cyl. head may
have 2 come off :-(
Thanks, Munchausen.

OK, that's an easy one, just remove the fan belt, undo the crankshaft
pulley and remove it.
Gently lever the pulley off, prise out the seal and tap in a new one.

You may need to undo the lefthand engine mount and lower the engine
slightly to get the pulley off but then again you may not.

Make sure you put a little oil on the seal before fitting the pulley
so it doesn't burn when you start up next time.
