Got enough fuel? Could it be the low fuel warning?

Nah low fuel only activates at 80klms, 60klms, 40klms and 20klms to go
are you sure the speed alert has not been set by someone else?
no other warnings on the trip readout?

I know the Holdens have a rest reminder that activates after 2 hours and
then at something like 5 min intervals, might be something simmilar?

So the low fuel activates right after you fill up the tank each time?

Good grief. Audible warnings for low fuel, speed, low oil pressure, blown
globes and now a "rest reminder" as well?!?! Thanks for reminding me again
why I drive a 20 y.o. car instead of an annoying new POS.

Why are these a problem for you?
if you drive withing the normal parameters of any vehicle your would
almost never hear them
the speed warning has to be activated by YOU and set to a certain speed
before you hear that
if your car doesn't have an oil gauge how do you know if you have just
lost oil pressure unless the cars has a warning(this in nothing new,
cars 50 years ago had a low oil warning light
The BA low fuel waning also tell you approx how many klms you have to
travel before you run right out, and it doesn't make a noise till you
have less tha 10 litres left
and as for the rest warning
seeing as how the majority of car owners never drive for more than 2
hours 99% of the time a rest warning is a good thing to combat fatigue
and of course there is also the one main reason for driving a late model car
when you have a crash your chance of survival is a whole lot better than
any 20yo POS
