Big announcement today.
One speeding offence and you lose your Red P Plate for 3 month.

The rule is already in place..3 demerit points and your licence is
gone!
Exceed speed by less than 15kph..3 demerit points!

Not allowed to use a mobile phone.....funny that...3 point demerit!

They have the laws....why not actually police them!

You missed the other major advance - they've effectively done away with the
idea of a designated driver for P platers! Instead of a carload of drunk
teenagers with a sober driver they now want half a dozen cars with drunken
teenage drivers.

As you say, what is needed is enforcement, not new laws - virtually all the
teenage deaths that brought this on were caused by drivers who were already
breaking the law, usually either the speed limit or the alcohol limit or
both.

This is all part of the problem that the world is
full. No more kids policy would work ... seriously.

I look around at folk I know breeding families and
simply think - NO! - add to that "it would be
fair to them prezactly why?". Of course you
would get the usual breeder response "that's
what you do, everyone does, I hate my life
because I now have kids and because of
time issues wish I didn'd as I now have no
time to do what I actually wanted to". That
statement is from someone around 2 years
younger than myself.

I've prolly said too much above and would
be incorrect as possible to state humans are
killing this planet.

All downhill trends are under way.

What would AusCo do if ChinaCo stopped
shipping us shite for the Bunnings or market
shelves?

Fall over in the same heap as if we ran
out of ... let's see ... water ... for example.

Sorry if that seems bitter - thems the facts.

My position would be let them kill themselves as
it's the Darwin thing to do. However they will take
out others, and I don't think that is a good thing.

Hey, it's not the 1980s anymore :-(

Slow down breeding, and slow down overpopulation
and greed in chities - it needs to be done. Seriously.

Bad daawg.

What do you think will happen to the population of Australia if we stop
having kids? Who is going to look after and pay for the care of everyone
once they stop working?

The whole situation cannot be addressed AU wide, needs to be a world
wide decision that population issues have to be considered.

The correct situation is you die when your body tells you it is time,
not
hang on to be 105 or whatever. I'm really sure I don't want to live
past around 75, so I'm more than half dead. Harsh - however that's
how the rest of the flora/fauna on this planet works. Eskimos too IIRC.

The fact is the planet does not grow larger. Meself and your generation
are prolly the last that are going to have a good time through it.

Oh look:
