hello
hope someone can help me.
i set my set top box to 4:3 (letter box) and
have recorded a lot of stuff on a normal tv, 4:3.
now i have a widescreen tv and when i play the reocored stuff i
still get the black bars top and bottom.
now i change my set top box to 16:9 and recorded some stuff and
played it back on my widescreen tv and that fixed the problem.
but the thing is i record stuff in the other room on my normal 4:3 tv.
now if i have my set top box set to 16:9 everthing i watch is stretched.
so does this mean all the stuff i have recorded in 4:3 letterbox is going
to have the black bars when i play on my widescreen tv.
or now when i record stuff i have to watch it stretched.
just wondering is there somthing i can do about this or a dvd recorder i
can get that can fix this or should i just get another widescreen tv.
i hope that makes sence.
thanks
