Three.com.au charged my mobile numer $60 for sending SMS to 19942226 on 31
Dec and 2 Jan. I called Three.com.au, he said LegionInteractive charged me.
As my kid stole my mible to send these SMS. She is 11 years old. The website
www.habbo.com.au say player must be over 14 year old and must have billpayer
permission to legal sending SMS. My kid is illegal to do so. I asked for
refund, but LegionInteractive said I cannot be refund, I should report to
police. What can I do? Can I complain to Fair trading department?

Start by giving your daughter a kick up the arse and work the money out
of her hide. If I did something like that when I was that age I didn't
hear the end of it until I worked the debt off. If someone steals your
handset it's the same situation - until you report it any calls made are
your responsibility.

Yeh, and let the Police investigate him for neglect and lack of legal
supervision!

Your lack of security for you possessions is your problem, as is your
child's dishonesty. Sort yourself out and your child out before they
end up in jail.

Put it down to experience. Lock your mobile and punish your child for
being dishonest.

Start being a better parent for one.

Ever heard of discipline? Or taking responsibility for your brat of a
child?

Parents like you don't deserve kids if you cant control them.

You should be ashamed of yourself for raising such a delinquent child.

I trust is was more than just two messages for the $60 - the kid had a good
time sending 9 messages....

Yeh, get that kid locked up before she costs you more money - will save on food
costs too

David - who wonders how anyone would recommend reporting a 11yr old to police
for making a kid size mistake

I have known of this happening numerous times when people have taken
their children of almost any age to the Police to lecture them and
hopefully 'scare' them into pulling themselves into line.

A good Cop knows exactly how to deal with these situations. Basically
it is a public relations exercise and if handled properly will sort
the child out before they develop a live of crime.

Well, if you are going to allow hordes of Mongoloids to live in
Australia, then you can expect the Triad gangs characteristic of East
Asia to become established, and what this young girl has consciously
done is the first step on a life of crime.
