What brand of DVD-R can I use to take advantage of the DMR-EH60's HIGH SPEED dubbing function (this allows you to copy 2hrs from HDD to DVD-R in around 10-15 minutes; I've done this on a DVD-RAM disc supplied with the recorder in the past)? I can't be bothered with real-time dubbing, as it's too time-consuming.

I was under the impression that these functions were only enabled for DVD-RAM use

I haven't done it myself yet, but I have the DMR-EH65 and the manual says that it can do the high speed dubbing on all formats.

Ok, shouldn't be a problem then, not sure why the OP felt that certain brand discs were required:)

I have tried with Ritek and TDK and they didn't allow high speed dubbing, hence the post.

Even though the instuctions do indeed say any media will work for high-speed transfer I believe only DVD-RAM is supported. :(

How long does it take you to transfer to disc? A lot of brands consider anything faster than real time to be high speed dubbing, not sure what Panasonic classify as high speed though
